Hmm..should I take this credit card offer?

Capital One Mastercard
APR: 4.99% :Q
Balance Xfer: Free @ 4.99%
Fees: None
Charges: None
Limit: $7000 - $30,000

That 4.99% constant APR is very appealing to me.
Plus I need something to replace my 8.99% Sony card with no benefits and a bogus limit.

What say you, forum Ferengi?

Current Cards:
Amex Blue, Citibank Sony Mastercard, Discover

Personally, I've had a Capital One card for over two years and had zero problems with them. The couple of times I called in with a question the reps were very helpful.

Well in truth I'm only basing my hatred upon the fact that they keep sending me pissant offers that somebody with 1/5 my credit would be insulted at.

Additionally when I didn't have credit they were unwilling to give me even a secure card. I haven't forgotten it and I shan't. I will never have a CO card they lost a good customer. MBNA reaps great rewards from having me their customer and CO has lost that chance forever. Whoo hoo!

I completely agree.

I believe Capital One has been caught in shenanigans many times. You have to read the fine print, those little dots that require a magnifying glass, very closely. That 4.99% could jump to 33% overnight for the slightest infraction or "just because they felt like it."
