Its crap.
450w and it only has 15a on the 12v

I can't even use it on my board.(says 12v should be 18+)

Hmm, to risk it or trash it...

LMAO!!!^^^^ Yeah just trash it. That's why I don't even bother paying for a case with a PSU, they inevitably charge you $30-50 extra for something worth about $0.

you can try it, but the PSU is the most important component in a computer, and by using a cheap one you are risking every part in your computer.

Even with those drives and an amd 3000 with no overclocking, this thing could cause problems?

That is a very low quality generic piece of crap power supply..I would not use it with ANY system. Powmax doesn't make good power supplies either, I had a 400w powmax max make a $180 motherboard go pow. I would highly recomend not even trying to use that PSU. A 380w or better good name brand PSU will be enough, Antec, enermax, fortron, even a 420w thermaltake, but I would never use that one..

^^^ What he said. That supply should come with a Computer General's warning label on it - "Continued usage of this power supply, may cause serious and irreperable harm to your computer system and your sanity."

You can get a 360W Chieftec (same as ThermalTake, HighPower) for $20 at Directron.com. (Not very high +12V line though, would recommend something better for a high-end/SLI rig.)

Feeding a PC lousy power is like you eating molded bread and drinking out of toilets. Lousy input is not a good thing, and can cause damage in the long run.

Doesn't matter. Powmax are probably one of the worst PSU's ever created, second only to Deer. It is probably slowly killing your components through Power Spikes, EMI etc..

Trash case and PSU and get something with quality. You will regret it if you dont.

The price should have been the first clue. $23 for a case and PS? Return it if you can and get some real stuff. Any case/PS combo thats worth having will be at least $100-$125

Wakawaka is really asking for it! Acting as if he really expected something for nothing...

Actually the Antec SLK3700-AMB costs less than $70. shipped and it's one of the best package deals I know of. Or you can get the same case in black (SLK3000-B) w/o PSU for under $50. shipped and add your PSU of choice.

I echo the others. Case and PSU for under about $70., you're taking chances. Unless you're talking distress sale, any case/PSU combo under $50 is going to have a bottom-feeder PSU and the case will probably be flimsy too.

That PSU is TOTAL CRAP! No certificatons at all - I'm amazed they can even sell that thing in the States... I'd even be ashamed to try and unload it on eBay.

Is that kind of like, "Well, everything smells like Magic Smoke, in the end"?

Not true at all. I got my Antec 3700AMB for $59.99 and it's a great case with a great psu. There are many Antec cases that are under $80.00 that come with awesome PSU's.

A good power supply will cost you about $75, that's way more than your case. Is the case any good ?

I bought a $30 case + psu once, when you took the ps out the case folded in on itself... Talk about crap... Threw both away.

Get a Antec, Enermax, PC Power & Cooling, Sparkel or Zippy single rail power supply..

Regards,
Jose
