My 64mb gamecube memory card just decided to corrupt itself. PSO did an autosave and restarted the game, and it said it was corrupted. Lets see, thats about 7 madden seasons in '04 alone(not to mention the '03 and '02 franchises), a 40+ hour Skies of Arcadia save, several Eternal Darkness saves, my PSO characters, NBA street records, Mario Kart records, NFL Blitz stuff, several Metroid saves, fully unlocked Smash Bros, as well as about 15 other games that I played but never beat. Almost 3 years of saves/records gone.....time to get a PS2?

I learned long time ago that never ever buy 3rd party memory cards. thats the thing you never wanna skimp on, just like u dont go with a cheap powersupply when u build a pc.

64M denotes non-nintendo.

My important saves are duplicated on 2 cards.
You should have done the same.

Wow, that sucks. :(

Out of all those lost saved games, which one hurts the most to loose?

That's why I only by first party memory cards. I've read about too many failures with the Gamecube third party memory cards.

Gamecube isn't the only console with that problem, third-party stuff in general can be pretty flakey. 1st Party only for me.

I have a third party racing wheel and pedals for the Xbox. Haven't had a problem with it at all. :D
