I thought of a scam to get all of your local postage for free. If you forget to put a stamp on a letter or you don't put enough postage the mailman usually just brings it back to you. So all you do is put your address where you would normally put the address you mean to send it to. Then put the address where you actually want the letter to go as the return address. Drop the letter in a public box, and the mailman, thinking the other person sent it, will take it to where you want it to go. At the worst it comes back to you postage due and you refuse to pay. Not that it's worth it to commit mail fruad for, what $.34? But if you ever get the urge to live on the edge it's something to try, I guess.

This would only really work if you were sending a letter in the same city.
If you were in L.A. I doubt they would send it to a return address that was in Chicago.

I've been wondering if you could take a parking ticket, make copies. Then when you want to park illegally, just pull out your copy and place it on the windshield. That way, if a cop passes by, he'll see that there was one written already and keep on walking.
I think it would work, but like everything, it will depend if the Cop is a pr*ck, lazy or doesn't care. Here, the parking violations are neon-orange, you can spot one a mile away.

I got one!
First...you put up an item on eBay. Then, when the buyer wins and sends you money...DON'T SEND THE ITEM! And KEEP the money!
OMG I'm a genius!

I used to stick an old ticket I got under the wiper when I parked on campus in the faculty spots, it only failed me a few times.
