I like watch 2 better. But the first one is still cool and is cheaper

Neither... of course, those are just my tastes...
I lean towards Seiko or Citizen... I wear a Citizen Eco Drive.

I bought a Seiko Kinetic but the Post Office lost it and now I am out 200 bucks! I say get the first one, it's more compact (at least it looks like it).

I like the second one better.

By the way. I was thinking about getting an Ironman Triathlon watch for 19.95.

An comments.

They look really cool. I usually just spend $10 on a watch as I'm prone to losing things like that.

Zippy,

Those are both good looking watches. Number one would be my choice. They are both strong and manly; don't listen to these Seiko wienies.

Hey toph99,

Just saw your post; you are a man of excellent taste! The Swiss Army is my everyday watch.:)

Thanks for the advice guys. I am torn between the two, I don't know if #2 is worth the extra $80 for whatever those two smaller circles are. :p One thing on watch #1 that I don't like is that the date is on the 9, not the 3 like normal.

Hmmm...

I have a relatively small wrist (I have a very high metabolism; 5'8", 130lbs.) so I need some more advice on a watch with a relatively small face. I want to explore all options before settling. :)

Thanks!

Actually, those aren't Swiss Army brand. They still look good, though.

EDIT: Genuine Swiss Army selection here, and here.

I got the ESQ (a swiss watch maker, go figure? :)) Venture stainless steel watch, and it looks _very_ nice, imo. I've received many compliments on it.

Frost, I'm not big on the whole square or rectangular watch thing. ;)

Thanks for the link to that site though! :D

I like the second one, but I don't think it's worth the money over the first one.

My daily watch is a $40 Pulsar Chronograph (thanks to Ashford). Owrks good enough for me. The Tag Heuer (graduation gift from uncle, I personally think Tag's are way overpriced) only comes out on special occasions. :p

Have you check out Ashford.com yet? I just finished Christmas shopping for a watch for a friend of mind and the total came out to $170 which is pretty good. The watch Frost have the link to looks very nice. Too bad you don't like rectangular faces cuz those looks very nice if you're into dress watches. For me I usually wear Raymond Weil or Cartier.
