I was doing some translating for my spanish class and using this site for help

http://www.systransoft.com/

This site is better than the other translators I've tried, as far as keeping the meaning of the sentence somewhat smooth. But type "mama" in the text box, switch to translate from spanish to english and click translate. Can mama be used this way in Spanish?

HAHAHA.

Actually, it's correct, though, since the verb "mamar" means "to suck". "Mama" is the third person conjugation for mamar.

Mamar <----- To suck
Mamo
Mamas
Mama <----- Meaning he/she/it sucks
Mamamos
Mamais
Maman

Hehehe.... 5 years of Spanish cmoes in handy sometimes. :)

No doubt what you were actually trying to translate mamá? If you use ALT+0225 to get the á, it will translate it as "mother".

You're supposed to hold down ALT and hit 0025 right?

oops i mean 0225. but it still doesnt work:( oh well, copy and paste for me.

Hehe.. Minor details. I didn't think about that because I always naturally use the numeric keypad. What do you do on a laptop?
