No pictures available, but the ad states that it runs well and the A/C works well too. 128K miles. I emailed the person back asking if I could come take a look at it, if the car had any mechincal problems, and if it had a title and a VIN.

I'd go for it for $750. My uncles' Saturn was a first year model and it lasted 14 years, even if this one only lasts five, I think it's worth it.

I drive a 98 Saturn SL that we got new.

Even after going through 5 vehicle-punishing UP Michigan winters, it's still driving well for me at 91k miles. It does seem to drink a bit of oil now, but other than that I've had no major issues, and it still gets good gas mileage.

make sure when you look at it to check the transmission fluid and the motor oil.
Saturns are notorious for having the head crack and that is big bucks to fix.

Actually, we have 5 cars and only 3 drivers. I dont need another car. But I might not pass on a decent deal on a 1998 Saturn for $750 if it's mechanically and cosmetically in good shape.

wtf? i don't understand people like this.

"i don't need this but its a good deal." why not save the money for something you DO need?

now if you're going to resell it at a higher price, thats a different story. but just to buy it because its a good deal makes no sense

I have a 98 Saturn SL2 and I really like it. It may not be the slickest or fastest car on the road, but it does handle fairly well, and get ~36mpg Hiway. It has 123K miles on it, and does drink oil like it was water... but the car was free, so I feel that it is a small price to pay.
