3. online magaement is kind of stupid, especailly the fact that if you want them to process a payment the same day it costs $12 and then it still takes 2-3 days to post. For free they process payment the next business day and it takes 2-3 days to post. I don't understand why crapitalone can process and post a payment on the same day for free and chase can't.

I have no idea what you are talking about. I post payments online with my Perfect Card all the time. There is no fee.

learn to read, i said if you want them to send the payment the same day it costs $12. There are two buttons:
Pay Bill: Schedule a payment. Allow 2-6 business days.
Pay Today: Make a same day payment. (Note: A fee may apply.)

And my mistake if you pay $12 it posts on the same day

RichieZ is correct. If you want your payment to post the same day it costs $12. Otherwise if you can wait a few days it's FREE.

I have been quite happy with my Chase Perfect Card and they increased my limit from $2,500 to $5,000 without me asking.

What I really like is the 1% or 3% rebates are applied to each statement. With CitiBank Dividend cc you have to first charge $10,000 then they mail you a check for $100.

Why don't you stop being a jerk? Oh yeah, and learn some financial responsibility. Why in the world would you ever need to post anything the same day? Oh wait, because you wait til the last minute to pay your bills? You deserve the $12 fee.

I got that call too.

After he said what he had to say he ended with "Well, I am going to go ahead and sign you up now if you dont object"

Had to make sure I stopped him from doing that.

I have never used it, should I want to be able to post a payment on the same day I dont' see why I should have to pay.

RichieZ - This is one of the many reasons I prefer CitiBank over Chase.

I will be closing my Chase Perfect Card soon because they continue to piss me off and annoy the living Ferengi out of me.

CitiBank online allows you to make same day payments if they are before 1PM EST and it's FREE. Also CitiBank has one time use cc's (like Amex and MBNA do).

Congrats :)

What's your limit?

CitiBank seems to be real stingy (or cautious from a lender's perspective) they only gave me $5,000

just 1k heh... but my "income" is 12k, so i guess i can't expect much. it sucks that they wait until you have $100 in dividends to cut you a check (unlike the perfect card), but chase's online billpaying system really pisses me off, and i like the virtual cc number feature so it's all good :)

I just got mine a couple weeks ago.
Like it so far..
Haven't made a payment yet, do pay all bills online though.
Sounded like a good deal for me esp. with the amount of driving I do.

On an income of $12k, a limit of $1k should be perfect.

I love CitiBank's customer service, their web site is better than Chase's, make a payment online before 1PM EST and it's applied the same day FOR FREE and the one time use cc's are nice.

i just got my dividends card from citibank and i called in again to change it to the Entertainment rewards card.
Number stays the same but u get a new card. according to the citibank rep the entertainment card is their
most popular one...so it must be pretty good. she even chuckled at the fact that most people gotta try pretty
hard to hit the 10k for the dividend check but with the rewards card u can get something back relatively easily.
both are platinum so no loss/gain there. only thing she mentioned was that the apr on the rewards plat card
is .5% higher than the dividend card... if u keep your balances low or pretty much pay off everything monthly, then
no biggie...it won't affect u.

Its decent enough. I like the fact you can get 3% rebate on any gas station. Chase does tend to push its card protection/service, etc much more often though. I'm hanging on to mine since I still have some 0% BT on their card.

did something change? the entertainment card doesn't look that good... the diamond preferred rewards card does though... 5k free points for signing up... just switched over from the platinum select dividents.

I think I'm going to close my Chase Perfect Card after my 0% balanace transfer APR offer ends which is next month.

They want to charge me 15% for purchases and balance transfers, that's BS.
