I'm lookin' for a dremel... which one should I get? I have no clue which one is good, etc. I wanted to get a coordless one til I found out the battery life is like 10 min :(

Any suggestions?

I just want to use it for general things... cutting cases... etc.

Thanks! :)

Just get the normal plugin model.

Model 395 I believe.

Make sure you get one with the flexible shaft attachment. Those things rule for cutting/grinding/sanding in hard to reach places.

It's just an attachment, it costs like 25 bucks extra.

Yeah, Wal-Mart would be a good place.

Ehh, they are alright but I like the real Dremels better. The stuff is interchangeable between the two I know. Make sure you get a variable speed, it's very important!

They are really all about the same. Teh 395 is a good all-purpose tool to have around. My wife confiscated mine for doing the dog's toenails. :Q I picked up a RotoZip and some bits for heavy duty case modding etc. This tool is great also!

I'd avoid the battery ones. The one that I have was really weak. I had a hard time cutting through a thin metal computer case with it, yet I was able to cut through a shock piston from a car with the electric model!!!
