HMDI 2nd screen issues

Edit: Oops, misspelled title! :D

I am connecting the 24" primary screen by DVI from my HD7950, and a secondary 55" screen by HDMI. There is never an issue with the image displayed on either screen but sound and OC settings are... weird. This is using Catalyst 13.3 beta 3.

For starters, my computer uses about 75 W in idle when the second screen is not connected. If I connect it at the HDMI-3 port of the 55" screen my system uses 120 W instead since the idle clock and memory speed are automatically raised. If I turn the 55" screen off, the clocks go back to their lower idle and I am back at 75 W again. However, if plug in the HDMI cable at HDMI-1 the card clocks up, but stays up no matter if I turn off the screen or unplug the cable. The only way to get the lower idle clocks is to disable the screen in Catalyst. So there is already something different in these two HDMI ports on my 55" screen (LG LM615), but as long as I use the HDMI-3 port it is all OK.

Issue number two is that I can have an OC setting, for example 1000/1600 MHz @ 0.95 V while mining, that gets lost everytime I turn on or off the 55" screen. The PC detects that the other display is connecting/disconnecting and defaults to 850/1250 MHz @ 1.006 V. Needless to say this is really annoying since I might be at work and leaving my PC on for mining, and my girlfriend decides to watch some TV, and well, you get it... How do I stop this change in settings from happening?

The third, and most annoying problem, is the HDMI sound. In Windows 7 Sound window the AMD HDMI sound output is not listed, neither as disabled nor connected (yes, I have ticket both boxes). It is simply not there. If I reinstall the Catalyst drivers it detects the sound device through HDMI (the 55" screen) and I can use it with no problem. However, once I reboot the detected HDMI sound device is lost again, so if I want to have sound on my 55" screen I need to reinstall the drivers every time... Ideally I would like the HDMI audio to be detected and listed at the same time as the HDMI video out is detected, but failing that is there a way to force the detection of HDMI sound devices without having to reinstall the drivers again?

Please note that I do not want to bash AMD Catalyst drivers since they are working flawlessly when using a single screen, but my experience of connecting a second screen through HDMI have been less than stellar. If you can help me out I would be very grateful, if not I will give some feedback to AMD on these beta drivers.

For the record, the 13.4 drivers fixed all of these issues I had. It was just the beta drivers that were messing up, so if anybody with the same problem reads this, you know what to do.
