hm so I just borrowed my friend's spel meter to calibrate my HT...

Ns1

No Lifer
and for sh!ts and giggles decided to check out my car...

I usually listen to music @110db

not like vocals and junk are @110, but everytime the bass hits the spl goes to 110

should I be worried?

Nah. I've hit 134dB in mine before. I don't think you really have to be worried until you get up into the 160-180 range, unless I'm mistaken.

110 is not a level you want to be listening to. it will kill your hearing given enough time. a rare exposure to 100+ will be ok, but constantly - NO!!

Thunderclap, Live Rock Music, Chain Saw - 120 - Human Pain Threshold

I think the Evanescence show was just a little over the pain threshold...especially infront of the speaker.

I loved every minute of it 😀

I can tell you never spent any time talking to an audiologist..make an appt.and get your hearing checked and spend some time learning about hearing damage and how easy it is to cause permanent loss of hearing...😉
