As of right now, only a limited number of high-end video cards support this feature.

Im good to go.. X850XT/PE should be in those supported cards...

Awesome! I have the game, and the hardware to play it, but I've been waiting to play HL2 untill I get my new monitor. This works out perfect for me. WOOT!

if it dosn't imma be ub3r pissed. its perfectly capable of handleing HDR lighting. i didn't pay $400 on a video card to not be able to play games with the highest graphics available because there is some CEO ass kissing goin on.

but in reality, i really think its gunna make the list 😀 this should be awesome. i wonder if we can use AA with it enabled, and what kind of perfromace hit it will have.

I'm sure it will... I think they added that since their HL2 hardware survey showed most people who planned on playing HL2 were using GeForce4 MX's or FX5200's.
