X800 XT stil beats the 6800 Ultra and over at Firing Squads site it beat the Ultra by even more than it did at IGN. Sorry, had to say it all the Nvidia fanboys had their fun with doom 3 .....

That is interesting. Mid 40's on 16x12 w/ 4xaa 8xaf for the 6800nu oced. Very interesting indeed.

very true, however any of the new generation cards will be more than perfect for anyone running 10x8 resolutions

for those that are gonna be running 16x12 the x800 XT will of course dominate. Just glad i spent 300 for a 6800NU and not 400 for a x800 Pro

In the review they mislabeled the 6800gt as a 6800.

Read the article and the only reference to a 6800 besides the ultra is the gt.

Hmm. It looks like you can expect around 70 fos from an XT, 55 from an Ultra, 50 from a GT, and 47 from an x800 Pro at 1600x1200 4x/8x.

ok, that makes sense. i was kinda surprised that that X800XT beat the 6800 U, yet a plain 6800 beat the X800pro
