This is the standard version. If you are going to play countersuck source or just the single player, its fine. If your going to want to play dod source, or original HL source, you need the collectors edition.

I made the mistake of getting this version, not only do you still have to hook up to steam online, but you still need the damn cd to play. Lame. I wish i had been more saavy, I would have just ordered the silver version direct from steam.

DOD is not that great, and from what I heard HL source is nothing to jump up and down about. Plus I still have my original HL cd, so if I want to play the old stuff (TFC, SVEN coop, etc...) can still do it.

Counterstrike: Source is awesome!

Half Life Deathmatch is really fun, can't wait till they expand on it more, and CS: Source is great, and the only reason why I bought this game. Well worth $40 if your playing it with your friends
