So I open up steam and everything works fine. Double-click HL-2 and get a black screen, dude with knob comes up, then I get to a blurry screen with "loading" in background and nothing happens...I wait..nothing happens...can't Con+Alt+Del, can't minimize all, can't alt+tab out. Foreware 71.4 drivers. Comp in sig. Any ideas?
 
well, have you been able to play the game at all? Has this suddenly just happened or have you ever been able to play.

You also may want to undo your extra 4 Pipes mod as they may not be working correctly on your BFG.
