Hk avr 2700 to avr 1710s

hello

I have a question my avr 270 brakes so the warranty offered me a 1710S instead since they dont have 270 anymore. Both seems almost identical in paper but i still unsure if u should take the offer. Do think guys i will be downgrading myself taking a 1710s instead?
 
It should work fine. It's an updated model.

I do prefer the look of the older models though, they look more beefy and more air flow.
