I've got my custom loop installed. I've read the directions of how tight to fasten the screws but I am a little confused and just want to be sure of exactly what they are talking about. I have a digital caliber and I've set it to 19.60 for 200n pressure. So the top of the screw they describe as where the hex key is inserted to fasten it to the fastener. And the fastener is the part anchored to the board. Is this right?

According to the manual, that's not quite correct. You want to measure from the top of the M4 cap screw to the bottom of the spring/top of the mounting flange. That doesn't seem to make a whole lot of sense though, as you'd think that would the same between AMD and Intel. Either way, if you look at the table you want to compress the spring 3.4mm from it's original length to get 200N. Thread it in until the screws are just touching the springs, and measure that. From the top of the screw to the mounting flange would be easiest. Subtract 3.4mm from that, and screw it in until you reach that number.

That sounds crazy when they say measure it to 19.60mm

I was thinking from the very top of the m4 screw to the under side of the black bracket on the block where the screw anchors down. :hmm:

Looks like it's from the base of the spring to the top of the screw according to this post on Hardforum

edit: looks like you were right, thanks :)
