il vouch for swimming, though its the otherway round with me, i can swim upto 7000m in a training session, but running has me stoked after a few mins lol!
its not because i get tired, its my knees, they ****** kill when i run!
i used to swim anything up to 50,000m a week. it was hard work though, you have to literally beat your body into submission with a little mind over matter....your body eventually adapts though and then you can begin to push further still
but i realised its farily rare that you get any kind of decent money out of swimming, especially in this country, so i put my degree first and but swimming on the back burner. i still try do 12-15Km a week though
