I bought the powercolor x800xl a while back, and it came bundled with the Hitman: Contracts game. 2 cds. Now, i obviously installed it sometime ago cause it's on and working fine on my system, but i'm archiving my games and I can't seem to find the SN or activation codes for it. Not on the CDs so i dunno where to look.

If anyone bought a bundle with the hitman CDs, where did you find the code? slip of paper or something in the box? hopefully i didn't throw it away :S

Did you even read the OP? He's asking where the CD-key is printed because he can't find his.

The CD key with bundled games is usually on the paper envelope holding the CD.

usually, yes. but i already checked all the envelopes, the cds and the main envelope all the others were bundeled in. needless to say even though i don't like the hitman game too much, I'd hate to delete it now

i did a post on the powercolor forums and a mod there said he didn't remember a key for the game. even though it's weird there's no protection from illegitamcy on a game this recent, I'm kinda thinking the same now

i got a used copy off half.com and i dont really remember a SN either.
but i didnt have it on for long.
ive noticed that some games dont really have them with a label like "serial number"
i tihnk the first two splinter cell games just sort of had it on the back of the cd case with the traditional white box and no info. try dropping in one of the numbers near any sort of bar-code.

Heh, good luck. Run that registry monitor, then open up an Explorer window. You'll have a few thousand registry accesses in a second. Who knows what a game will do.

I don't think it has a key. Hitman 2 didn't, and a lot of games then did. I think they figured they didn't need one since it wasn't online.

I have 1,000 every 3 or so seconds in general use (ie: computer just running) :Q
