Hitman Blood Money Performance Thread...

I have played the Hitman Blood Money Demo.

It is more or less playable at 12x9 MAX hard shadows and no AA, I get really good FPS, maybe an average of >40 to 60-70 or so.

But with soft shadows the game no longer appears smooth and the FPS too drop drastically. The main difference comes from the fact that there is a slight mouse lag in each cursor movement. When I use 4x AA along with it, FPS drop again and the performance is slightly worse.
But even without AA the performance is such that it can hardly be called comfortable play, are other suffering the same problems, in the demo, that is?

Do you ever enjoy games for the sake of playing them or merely just to see what performance you can render? 😕


That being said i didn't find anything great about the game, it's "meh" at best.

Its a great game and fantastically playable @ 1600x1200 8xS even on my 6800GT.

Best bit of gaming fun I've had in a while (though my copy of Gothic3 was just delivered by the courier).
