Hitman 2 - anyone have this game?

Thoughts on opinions on this game? I've heard it seems a little Max Paynish, which imho was a good game, but I wanted to hear from actual people, and not paid-off game sites that put out crap reviews. (IGN in particular) Oh and for anyone who is wondering, Time Splitters 2 sucks.

Played the PS2 demo and hated it (loved max payne on the PC) watched a friend play it on PC and it still looked junky

It was a great game... fixed everything that was wrong with the first one. Fun and challenging and great atmosphere.

Pick it up and enjoy.

i've played the demo, imo its a pretty good game, but im just not use to being stealthy...i think im probably going to buy, cuz its something different, not just your random everyday FPS

its a very nice game indeed. I love it...even managed to get Silent Assasin rating in 2 missions.

I just got it for Xbox. I love it. Unfortunately, I've only made, "mass murderer" and "hired assassin" lol.

I'm totally stuck on the level where after you get out of the boat and have to hit the dude in the limo....daym.

I don't own the game but my friend brought his PS2 over for a couple of days and we gave it a good run through. Personally I like this game. You can have the stealth of a ninja to beat the level or you can just go in guns blazing and gun down everything you see. I never got to beat the game, but whenever I get a PS2 or Xbox I probably wouldn't hesitate to pick up a used copy (spending no more than $20 of course).

I don't like it - got tired of playing it after 20 minutes on the PC. I just want to shoot stuff, not have wussy delivery guys run away from me and drive off all the time.

i think this game rules but I'm hgaving problems with the basement killing level. I nabbed the pizza guy got his outfit and delivered the pizza to the guy in the basement and then strangled him. Now i don;t know what I'm supposed to do. i can;pt get the elevator in the generator room to work. on my map it says exit there, but i'd like to know exactly how I'm supposed to exit.

The game is awesome. Challenging and great looking. But don't try the first person mode, the weapons look like sh*t.

Great game, there are so many different approaches you can take to achieving your goals it's crazy.

BTW, do people notice pools of blood in this one or not?

I think it's a pretty sweet game. I've not had a chance to beat it yet, but that's more because I've got way too much work to do and not enough time to play.

Hey Johnlee,

If you mean the one in the park, go get your stash first. Then go underground, one of the places you can pop up at, there'll be a guy taking a whiz. (No one around, secluded) Strangle him, take his uniform, then go place a bomb on the limo. It's the non-general's limo. Then go down the street - you should be able to view inside the park. Take out the general - the other guy will run towards the limo and it'll blow up. IIRC, you actually have 2 car bombs so you could place them both on limos and wait for them to get back in. It's too slow for me that way

And this game does rock. I'm a mass murderer also though It's just too much fun killing everyone

I will agree that Hitman 2 is better than hitman 1 and I'm having GREAT FUN playing it!

Do you have a XBox? If so get Splinter Cell which comes out in a week or so.

I kinda like it, though I suck at the Silent part.
So far I've only gotten Mass Murderer or Psychopath rating in every mission, but heck, running in and shotting everyone works just fine for me
