It's permanent, but I'm sure it's limited to what the full version offers. Still, Ive been reading great reviews on this and seems to be very useful....best of all, it's a "good" FREE one!!!

Not sure how this runs a quick look shows nobody much has left comments on this software family for two years. mostly just they didnt have power to run this but they didnt say the cards they had. maybe they are trying to get some buzz. I did find their site annoying in getting this info, bodes ill for support. not sure if this free thing is this demo or not.

There are free demos of both HitFilm 2 Express and HitFilm 2 Ultimate. The demo versions are fully functioning and do not have an expiry time limit but they do restrict your export capabilities as follows:

30 seconds per export.
YouTube upload only.
Standard definition 480P only.
A HitFilm demo title card is added to the end of your uploaded movies.

You can activate the demo by purchasing the full version at any time. Projects created while using the demo will still work in the full version."

the link OP posted says try free demo. first thing it splashes up in flash on the company site in grey fade amongst all the pretty stuff. the free demo is limited according to what I copied from the FAQ that I posted earlier. It has watermarks time limits site limits etc. see above.

Maybe there is another place that has a better demo but that s not what the OP appears to have posted. I don't care but don't want others to waste time on sneakiness company marketing. If you like the deal go for it.
