Say you're walking down the sidewalk to a restaurant to pick up your to go order for your family dinner. in front of the restaurant is a guy and girl in their early to mid 20s. as you near them they ask you if you can give them a ride home because their car ran out of gas or broke down. they live in a town about 30 minutes in the opposite direction in which you live.

what do you do?

edit: this just happened to me and i said sorry, i'm going in the opposite direction. not to mention i'm going in for food for my family.
edit: and before anyone asks, no i don't have pics of the girl. she was actually wrapped up pretty well and had a scarf over her neck and chin. couldn't tell if she was hot or not.

Unless there's some reason not to I usually give people rides. I don't recommend it for everyone however.

like what reason would that be? i'd say its very risky doing this. you never know who this person is or what they might do.

Like there's somewhere I have to be and giving them a ride would make me late, I have someone else in the car that doesn't share my philosophies, I have a kid in the car, the people appear dirty to the point of damaging my car (or bringing me lice), etc.

I'm not as concerned on the safety end because I'm fairly aware, well trained, and heavily armed. 😎

I'm always a little suspicious when someone asks me for a ride when I'm walking down the sidewalk.

they probably saw me park my car...

Well, the truth is, I'm usually greatly suspicious when someone asks me for a ride. I'd offer to make a call for them, but I'd have to turn them down for the ride.

I would ask to search them, seriously.
Then maybe.

If the guy and girl looked shady then no.

I would get their information if I was to take them and in front of them call a friend and tell him their information.

I like to play it safe.

They might be out to kidnap handsome good looking Aimsters and then chlorofome them and have their way with the poor hot Aimsters.
