not too much to look at; but its something. Yahoo movie exclusive: HGTTG

I read the book for the first time last year after my wife got it for me for christmas and loved it, I know alot of others here enjoyed it as well so I saw this on /. and thought Id point it out for the interested since I couldn't find it :)

not much in the trailer except earth blowing up; but there are a couple pics of Marvin and the Heart of Gold

I just hope the movie is somewhere near as good as the book; don't know how much hope their is for that though.

Hmmm. worth checking out I suppose. And, I agree... Marvin looks sooooooooo wrong.
I also have a copy of the television series. It was pretty good.

So does the spaceship...the book described it as long and sleek, like a tennis shoe I think? Definitely not a mini-deathstar.

I remember the radio series. I recorded them faithfully. I enjoy radio almost as much as film. The Star Wars radio version, I thought was exellent because there was more dialogue.

Ok, just finished it and a big  Highly recommend it if you are bored and looking for a funny, weird book to read.

I picked up "The Restaurant at the End of the Universe" and am about to start it. I'm off for 2 weeks so I guess I'll finish off the series. Oh, and Marvin is great lol. :p
