Hitachi rebate issue

On rebatehq it says that they sent the check...i have yet to receive it. I have tried contacting them several times, it has been 5 days since i sent them an email. What should i do? If it was lost in the mail, will they send another one? The check issue date was 10-25-05...that was a while ago...i dont think it takes that long to send a friggin' check! This is my first issue like this, i would appreciate any advice.

Call them. Tell them you did not receive it. They will check their system and say it was cashed on X day or not. If not, they will put a stop payment on it or tell you to wait longer. If they put a stop payment, they will send out another check in some period of time. Why do you need someone to tell you what will happen?

maybe somebody has had a similar experience and can provide me with some advice...its a lot easier to post on a forum than to call a computer.
