I would never spend $1800 on a 42".

I just paid $2000.00 for the same TV on the 17 Dec. I am going back to the store TOMOROW and get my $200.00 back. THANKS

By the way, I love the new TV.

The prices are Canadian.

Panny 42" can be had for $1299 at amazon, or around $1400 at B&M stores. Better TV and better price IMO

Hey ya it's in canadian prices, was just wondering what people though off the tv, read a bit about flicker issues with the hitachi?
