Alright, here's one for yall...
I am GOING to be getting either the E7K60 or the 7K60 pretty soon. I have found several deals for the 7K60 for around $250. I understand that the only difference between the two is that the E7K60 is designed for 24/7 operation. I would say that I fit that category for needs. What makes it designed for 24/7 operation? I can't seem to find many places with this model yet... is it yet to be available? My biggest question - Is it worth getting the E7K60 over the 7K60 for this difference?
I'm replacing my IBM TravelStar 30GN (30 GB) with one of these. It's going in my laptop, a Dell Inspiron 8000. Would the non 24/7 Model have better power management? What's physically different in the drive? Should I have to worry about performance or reliability issues if I get the 7K60 and have it on 24/7?
