Is Hitachi a good brand? The price seems quite good for the features. Here are some specs:

Digital Controls--power, true-color RGB, signal input selection, white balance (9300K, 6500K, 5000K, and user defined), brightness, contrast, H/V position and size, rotation, pincushion, right pincushion, trapezoid, right trapezoid, zoom, rotation, degauss, memory store, H/V moire on/off, H/V moire adjustment, language select, OSD H/V position, recall and EasyMenuT on-screen control.

Free ground shipping currently, but eCost will add a handling charge onto your order around $10-15.

Also, don't be misled by the term "flat, square" tube. This is NOT a "perfectly flat" CRT monitor. See Hitachi's Site for details. eCost also sells Hitachi's "ergo flat" Superscan 771 for around $430 with shipping.

This is a .26dp monitor, I believe. The real rating for dot-pitch is diagonal, not horizontal or vertical.

damn... when I saw flat in the title I put "panel" right next to it... ah well, maybe in a couple years.
