Saw in the OC Register Ad for Wednesday.
Retail box, 7200rpm, 3 year warranty...

I was so excited about this until I saw this is the older E7K500 with 5x 100GB platters. Good price for people who need storage, but I'd rather not have a 5 platter HD in my system.

If they sell the T7K500 in store for this price, let me know, and I'll go run down to buy one. If not, I'm gonna pass on this.

It's probably just too early, that deal starts when Fry's opens on Wednesday. Their website is infamous for issues like this, rebates that don't link anywhere, etc. They always correct them in short order, though.

It was briefly available at the $129.99 after rebate price at Outpost, then switched to Product Currently Unavailable.

The 500GB PATA is available with free shipping, though.

This deal is now dead since they raised the price. Now it is about $189 AR. I got one for my new DirecTV HD TiVo HR20-700 to replace the stock 300GB SATA drive.
