I will never own another Mad Dog product. Ever. Burn me over $20.00 and lose a customer for life. They should know better than to mess around with rebate customers because I dont hesitate to steer anyone away for my $20.00 loss. As well everyone else burned by them I am sure does and feels the same. They look at it as hey we saved another $20.00 but they havent sold me and my friends another item since.
As for rebates its real easy.
1- Print Clearly
2- Attach an Address label on the Envelope, Rebate, Receipt, and UPC. You can either print them yourselves of get a roll for about 5.00 for something like 1000 labels. They have no excuse then for not being able to read your handwriting or any of the labels with the same information all over the place.
3- If its a large rebate its only like 30 cent to a buck to get a confirmation of delivery from the post office.
With that they dont have a leg to refuse your rebate. And I have had 99% success rate on rebates this way. That 1% is mad dog.
I will say I did have to call about a rebate with syntax after 4 months of it being on approved status. But they were curtious and did not deny my rebate and got it out immediately.
