the e760 is for blade servers and I guess its supposed to run your battery down more because it doesn't go to sleep. Personally I see that as a good thing because its very quick. I don't have both to compare but my battery is doing fine in my 700m. I've been off mains for over 3 hours and still had some juice left over this is on a 8cell battery though. That little computer is very quick and has taken over every job except gaming and my studio work. (plus my girlfriend has a computer to be on when shes here and thats a bonus)
