Hit-And-Run Teenager Takes Dead Man Home
Fri January 10, 2003 07:54 AM ET
VILNIUS (Reuters) - A teenage Lithuanian hit-and-run driver thought he was in the clear once he got home -- only to discover the pedestrian he had knocked down was still under the car.
The unlicensed 18-year-old was shocked to see a man's feet sticking out from under his father's Audi, the daily Lietuvos Rytas reported Friday.

Police were able to identify the remains of the 64-year-old victim, who they said had been drunk and was probably lying in the middle of the street when the car struck him.

"But it goes to show why this kid has failed the driver's test four times," said Stasys Meliunas, chief of police in the town of Rokiskis.

Same thing happened in Texas either last year or the year before except the guy wasn't dead. Dumb woman kept the dude in her garage so she wouldn't get in trouble.

thats pretty messed up...

That is horrible. Driving with a guy under your car. All that blood and other stuff trailing on the road.

reminds me of that tales from the crypt where that bum gets hit, gets stuck on the car and ends up coming back to life for revenge yelling, "Thanks for the ride lady."

ROFL!

Yeah screw parallel parking. That one part of the driver's test where you have to get out and peel dead drunks from the undercarriage of your car is much more difficult.

My friend ran over a drunk man several months ago. The man evidently came out of the bar and decided to take a nap underneath the rear of the car. When My friend backed out of the parking space he ran the dude over. (My friend was not drinking).
The drunk guy is now suing my friend.
