I just used Google to do a search on my name and in usenet I had tons of messages talking about computers, atari st versus amiga threads and stuff. God, I wish there was some way to delete all my messages. :(

That brings back memories :)

I always hated how the brand loyalists were almost all too ignorant to realize that the two companies essentially swapped bodies between the 8-bit and 16-bit eras: Atari 8-bit fans would run down the Amiga even though it was designed by some of the l33t 8-bit Atari team, and Commodore fools would blast the Atari ST even though it was really Jack T's 16-bit C-64.

Yep, I always thought Atari and Commodore were basically cousins. I usually tried to defend the Atari ST and I never put down the Amiga since I felt it was technically superior and it was designed by the same guys who designed my beloved Atari 800.

Why wait for the future to pass its judgement? I can judge you a dork now!

Just kidding. ;)

Is this your real name or a handle of some kind? Either way, if someone does enough research to find that information on you, they are at least as dorky as the rest of us. ;)

I still have both an Atari 130xe and a Commodore 64, but mostly because I've somehow managed to go a decade without finding time to transfer the game ports I did for Adventure International to disk images for PC emulators. Now that's procrastination
