As part of a catalogue of dirty tricks employed to smear the truth movement in its 9/11 Conspiracies: Fact or Fiction special, The History Channel used screenshots of an inane parody website and passed it off as representative of people asking questions about the official story.

I knew History Channel was going downhill with all the "documentaries" on Roswell, the "Bermuda Triangle", and "Biblical archaeology" but this is ridiculous.

I agree that the History Channel is going down faster than Berlin in the Spring of 1945. But, I have no sympathy for conspiracy theorists.

Oh yeah, and I wish those c*nts at the History Channel would stop with the Nostradmus BS.

Jesus, yeah. It was like a JeffK post. I just scrolled down to the animated gif of the History Channel.

That site needs some embedded MIDIs, scrolling marquees, and some more flashing text.

In defense of the History Channel, perhaps they don't understand that most all ytmnd sites are jokes. Their producers may still be using AOL.

And how old is the person who posted that? 11? Jeez, use a consistent font please.

I think all people under 16 shouldn't be allowed to use the internet. I am not a crackpot.

For some reason I checked my YTMND page tab first when I got into work today and saw what rubycalaber posted, then proceeded to laugh my ass off when he said the History Channel actually took it seriously! Just when you think YTMND is going downhill, it gets notoriety from morons unable to comprehend the gag. GG HC!

I don't to turn this into a P&N topic, but I saw that special and it was terrible. The most poorly constructed, illogical arguments (for there not being a conspiracy) were used. Their expert "debunkers" were two editors from Popular Mechanics/Science. While their input might have been valuable in discussions about the integrity of steel or whatnot, History Channel also felt they had some sort of authority in geopolitical matters, and could therefore answer questions in that subject. It was so terrible that by the end of the two hours, it had me dressing all in black and reciting Loose Change to myself.

Thruthers and other conspiracy theory believers are idiots and deserve to be made fun off.

Who else but a fool would come to their defence?

Why should the discovery chanel be able to diferenciate between this WTMND and the bull that the thruthers spits out? It's all bull but the only diference is that the thruthers believe it.

Man, whatever happened to JeffK? And for that matter, Cliff Yablonski? The day the two collided was probably SA's watershed moment.
