 While I disagree with the school forcing students to FORCE THEM to use the computer, I'm perfectly fine with them encouraging them to use it. I like thinking of the computer as a tool which can make life easier, not a necessity. I have about 6 school books which are so large that I have to stuff what I can in my bag and carry the rest (a minium of two). Well my teacher was kind enough give me a CD of the book which I think is absolutely wonderful because now I only have to carry 5 books around instead of 6.
I'm just wondering why schools don't offer this as an option instead of having to use an ACTUAL book instead? Sure I like having a book so that I'm not necessarily tied to a computer and can work where ever but it'd be nice if they offered it to more students... I didn't keep the CD though, I ripped it with alcohol and gave her the disc the next day so there is absolutely no way I could break the disc later on.
