Geeze, I wonder how feasible it would be to buy several of the Gigabyte X850 XTs (for the dual DVI), slap on a larger cooling unit like the HIS, then EBay it for $200 more (as the the Gigabytes are $599)...if people actually buy these things, damn...

That card made my jeans tight, the price tag restored them to their normal state. 😛

They just popped up on newegg in the last few hours, so its price gouging gallore. I am hoping it'll drop to something reasonable in a few weeks. I would like one when the new a64 revisions come out and I build a new rig, since it's already oc'd and I wouldn't need to void my warranty by slapping a silencer on it. =)

well, price has dropped $140 to 659 now (679 for dual dvi) (pe with silencer 709)

about halfway to what I'd pay for it 🙂
