Ok guys, be gentle on me! Did a search and couldn't find anything. There are very limited quanties of each. Free shipping to boot!!! Anyone have experience with Amazon/HIS rebates? I just ordered the X1950Pro IceQ3 Turbo with the $100 MIR and want to know your experiences with their rebates since that is a lot of money 'at risk'. It was $154 before rebate when I bought it but it looks like there is only 1 left and they raised the price back to $210 before rebate.

Looks like a good price for you on that X1950pro. 54 after rebate? I looked and the rebate house is rebatestatus.com. Pretty decent rebate house in my mind. I've never had to call them and they process them in the time they say they will. Now I've never has HIS as the vendor so I can't vouch for them.

The rebate conditions don't look too onerous so you probably will be OK. Remember to keep copies of everything. The only part of the rebate form to pay attention to is they say the address you fill on the rebate form must match the address on the receipt. Since it's an Amazon receipt, they will show an address. Just make sure they match.

Yeah, it will be $54 AR for me for the x1950pro turbo 🙂 . Just gotta cross my fingers the rebate comes. Do anyone know which date Amazon.com put on the packing slip... the purchase date or shipping date? The rebate ask for the packing slip with the date circled and from experience, some retailers put the shipping date. The problem is that the rebate is good for purchases til 12/31/07 but amazon wont ship until 1/2/08... so they better not put the ship date on the packing slip!!!

I just ordered something from them on Dec 12th and they shipped on the 15th (info from my email). I looked at the packing slip/receipt and it shows the 12th as the order date with no mention of the ship date. You should be good.

How do you guys come up with the price of 54$ ? It looks like $80.95. TIA.

It's in the OP. He ordered the $209 card when it was $154 (Amazon raised the price). You can no longer get it for that price. You can get it for $109 after rebate (the other X1950pro card is $80.95 after rebate but cooling isn't as good).

Seems like the discounts automatically are removed once the item total left in stock goes to 1. Don't you just love piece count inflation! 😛
