I did not review all of the details, however, the core clock in the link you sent was 1000 and the one in the review was 1180MHz.

I do not overclock video cards any longer, guru3d overclocked the core to 1260 and memory to 6800, so, there is headroom left. However, there must be two different versions of this video card on the market.

And, $610 plus shipping seems a lot of money for a slight overclock to 1000 core clock.

If the card temperatures and power consumption are lower than the card reviewed at guru3d, then it is very impressive, also "the PCB is customized and comes with advertised 18+1+1 PWM phases" is very impressive, if both cards have that many mosfits, and according to this link they do, http://www.hisdigital.com/un/product2-712.shtml

Thank you for the link and your fast reply.

The card would boost to 1180, that wasn't the stock core clock.

Either way that review lets me know one thing, the 7970 is a beast when overclocked.
