HIS IceQ II Radeon X850XT

I'm thinking of buying one of these because I here the stock cooler is like a vacuum. Do any of you have experience with HIS. Is it quieter than the stock one?

no and no.
at startup they blow at 100% since they are not being controlled by the software, but once it boots up it is fine. it usually dsoent get realyl all that loud. It's not as good as the HSI solution but it's decent.

NM Just bought a evga 7900gt and a a8n-e motherboard from zzf! woot!

Just put a zalman on my x800xtpe. Totally quiet and nice low temps. Mind you the stock cooler was only loud when on load (not annoying loud). I am a sucker for quiet and with a fan controller can have almost absolute silence when playing music (at least I can't hear it over the fairly quiet ps).
