His grade is affected by how many views they get, so could as many of you as possible click on this link and watch this please? It is a science experiment, runs under 3 minutes, you don't even have to watch just let it run in a new window

Maybe the grade is based on social engineering, or the 'internet affect' or something of the like. Maybe it's not based soley on how many views he can get, but on the example it creates of internet news/sharing.

And he said the grade was "affected" by the view count, but didn't say by how much. And I think it's a relevant assignment for today's kids, but I think I would have chosen something besides YouTube....but maybe the OP can get us more details on the assignment?

Sadly, after listening to the teacher in that video, I can understand how she thinks that grading based on youtube hits is a good idea. Pretty sad.
