I think I've decided on either an XFX 5750 or a sapphire or HIS 5770 both at newegg.
5750 - 140 right now
5770 about 160
From what I've googled sapphire warranty seems horrible. If something goes wrong with the sapphire card they charge you a "fee" for transportation (back to asia) so it's like $50 to get the card fixed or a refurbished replacement.
I have been unable to find anything about HIS's support however and I've combed their website and can't even find any legal language. Anyone have any experience with them?
Both have 2 year warranties.
Any info is much appreciated even if it's a horror story.
I want the faster speed of the 5770 if it's just a $20 bump, but getting support after the 30 day return period is also important to me. XFX the only company I know which has a lifetime warranty selling these is at 180, and 20 seems a bit high for just a better warranty.
So I'm also considering giving up the speed of the 5770 for 20 savings and warranty unless the 5770 is really much faster.
