Ok this is frustrating.
Just built a new rig:
Intel C2D E8500
4GB OCZ DDR2 6400
HIS 4870 1GB
Gigabyte GA-EP45
Seagate Barracuda 500 GB SATA 32MB buffer
OCZ ModXStream 600W Power Supply
So the issue arises when I turn on the PC it acts normal then I get a beeping and the screen flashes "You have only connected one 6 pin connector to your video card. Please reference the quick reference blah blah blah..."
Now or some reason my PSU only came with one 6 pin connector so I have tried using that in tandem with the conversion piece for 1 6 pin to 2 4 pin connectors and I have also tried using the standard 6 pin along with another connector that has a 6 pin and a 4 pin on it. No matter which configurations I use I get the same result.
Any suggestions??? Thank you in advance!
Hopefully the PSU guys can help shed some light on the OP's issues. Moving from Video...
