I can't believe this hasn't gotten any responses. If it wasn't for him we wouldn't have the consoles we have today.

I kid, though that's true. The story of the SNES CD is a pretty interesting read.

You can't underestimate the impact of Nintendo on the video game world. They basically created the whole concept of modern gaming. The NES pulled the industry back from the brink.

Perhaps that would be a good thing. I'd rather have had their games on the PC.

Actually Sega made modern games before the Nintendo did.

The original nes in Japan came out in 1983 and the master system from Sega was 1985.
