sorry for the letdown but its not actually a thing yet. those android tablets can go for $100 now on ebay easily, and if they can make something like HippoRemote work on those, then i cant imagine a cooler remote control.
even as it is, its almost worth buying a used ipod or old iphone to run hippo remote if you have an htpc. it wouldnt be impossible to use hardware that the carpc community has to control your stereo and tv just like any remote you have, and have that integrated into the software. this could finally be the end to stupid proprietary remotes.
any thoughts?
