Have checked Hiper website and nvidia and both quote the PSU as only able to support SLI for 7900 range cards.

Is it possible to run a pair of EVGA Nvidia 8800 GTS 320 OC cards in SLI mode with this PSU?

It happy runs one video card with 3 HDD's, DVD & 3 case fans. FYI Running a E7650 Intel core two duo @ 2.66 GHz.

Currently the mobo lights come on and the fans start for a spilt second and then everything stops. If I do not supply any power to the video cards the both Beep. If I do not supply power to the second card the system boots fine but the second card beeps.

I have swtiched the mobo to SLI mode and also disconnected the HDD's, fans and DVD all with the same effect :(

TIA, J

Is your Hiper the modular one? You only have 30A on the 12V rail (wimpy), and there is only one native PCIe cable. A single GTS under load can draw from 110-140W, so adding a second card with the Hiper is not advisable. You'd be better off selling that psu and upgrading to a quality current generation psu such as the Corsair HX620 (or better).
