Hip Hop DJs are the WORST in the world

Was driving home last weekend and listening to the radio. Flipped through the stations and heard a 50 cent song I like.

Then the F'ing DJ started doing his 'Mix'. Basically making the record sound sound like it was dragged across a concrete floor with my foot on it. I tried to listen through it but it was too horrible.

Then I remembered it's 'DJ CLUB NIGHT' on 92 Q. Every week they have a different DJ and all those fvckers do is make the CD skip and yell over the song.

No mixing beats, no Run DMC style turntable, are these guys using a program off Download.com? /vent.

way to categorize some local talentless cd playing no-names with every dj in the world. Were you always this dumb or did you have to work at it?

yep

if the OP is in nyc at all, he should check out the manhattan channel at 1 am on sat (or something around there). they have djs showcasing their skills. i randomly watched it one night and the dude was NASTY. just plain sick.

I actually was thinking about being a DJ at on point, and bought some equipment, but never got into it. I love music though, and I love hip-hop. There is nothing I hate more than to hear one of my favorite songs on the radio when all of a sudden that wicca-wicca sound comes on. I agree with you fully amplifier.

Listen to 92.3 or 95.5 on Friday night.

You're assuming that the DJs you hear are the only ones that exist.

Should read: You're a dumbass.

the worst ones are 95.5 and 93.9 on the weekends. i HATE when they just repeat the same part of a song 50 times and call that mixing. i personally think the 92.3 stations have better variety of hip hop music than the other 2 i mentioned.

I'm in the DC-Met. 92Q has a wider mix of music, but the DJs on 93.9 and 95.5 generally seem to... interfere with the music less. You gotta realize though, on Friday/Saturday night it's club night. That's what they do at the clubs, so that's what we have to listen to.
