Hinterland:Orc Lords

So I'm still looking for a place to spend my free $5 on D2D (I ended up passing on the PC version of KotOR).

This weekend the deal is Hinterlands. I looked up some info, and it looks like a game I might enjoy. But the reviews are pretty mixed.

Is this game in the same class as (and as fun as) something like Majesty? I love that old-school stuff.

Anbody here played it? Is it worth a go?

I played it for a while, before Orc Lords was released. It was enjoyable. Its an independent title developed by Tilted Mill, the makers of Caesar IV and SimCity Societies. Hinterlands is what they produce without a large publisher behind them.
