himem.sys missing when doing a restart...

when i do a shutdown and reboot it is fine...but with a regualr restart it says the himem.sys is missing...
can i just copy from another computer to this one...
windows 98 machine...need any other info?

Start>Run> type in sysedit, select config.sys, in the very first line type in "Device=C:\Windows\himem.sys" without the quotes, make sure it is the very first entry above all other entries that may already be in there. Then, file>save, close that window, restart your pc, the error should go away.
