HILLDOG = Republican Revival?

Am I the only one who sees this?

Somtime in 2010, Hilldog resigns as Secretary of State, on the basis that she has fundamental differences with the free spending Obama admin. Claims she's all for balanced budgets (such as we had under bubba).

Then in early 2011, she jumps ship, turns republican, runs as a fiscal conservative, signs up the only true republican left Pat Buchanon as an advisor, and whips Obama's ass in 2012, taking the house and senate with her?

To answer the OP,

No, I do not see this happening. For one thing the GOP have made too much hay in demonizing Ms Clinton.
The second thing is I doubt that she disagrees with what Mr Obama is doing considering that the US is in the worst recession in recent memory.
The third thing, the GOP is in the midst of kulling out the "moderates" from their party. I can not see the GOP even letting Ms Clinton in the front or back door.

The fourth thing, if Mr Obama crashes and burns Ms Clinton is the logical person to lead the Democratic Party.

How so? So far, 3 people have made baseless remarks or called this a troll thread, however they have not touched upon the central idea.

Buchanon is an old school republican, fiscal conservative, also a conseverative when it comes to spending our precious blood and treasure oversees. (ie he was against going into Iraq).

Bush dragged the entire republican party down with him, and only a few went against him, Buchanon being one.

Likewise, Obama will drag the democrat party down with his reckless spending.

I feel the new extremes in both partys have gone out way too far, and somewhere between old school Hillary and Buchanon, they can bring some sanity back.

As I see it, Obama's rival candidate will have to screw up big time in his campaign to lose the election. People are getting tired of all the debt Obama is adding on.


Hopefully though people wake up and vote 3rd party and not Repug/Demo.....

I do forsee the Republicans gaining ground in 2010, but by no means do I see a revival in their immedeate electoral future. Barring another economic collapse, a new front on the 'culture wars', a military conflict, or some huge scandal, the Republicans will only gain ground if they focus on local politics.
