Take away his 90% share of the black vote and he losses North Carolina and a few other places etc.

Was that a suggestion or a hypothetical?

Interesting.

I figured some Republican would come along to refute my comment, but that never happened -

I can only suppose it's because you know it's true.

What the hell else can I say about folks who choose this side of the divide?

Whether by nature, or out of rejection of the probable Dem nominee?

If that's who you vote with, that's the kind of shit you are endorsing.

Period.

Let's do the math and see for ourselves :)

North Carolina, about a third of the voters were black. Source

According to the state elections board the total number of voters was 1,580,726.
Which means 526,908 of them were black.

Obama gets roughly 90% of the black vote which means he received 474,217 votes from blacks.

Take away those votes and Obama received 413,174 votes
Hillary (minus her 6% of the black vote) gets 626,054 votes

Thus Hillary wins.

I am sure we could repeat this in many of the southern states that Obama won.
The point isn't to deny Obama those victories though, it is the refute preslove's idea about Hillary's core supporters being white women. It is obvious that being a black has FAR more impact than being a female when it comes to elections.

Do you have any idea of the idiocy you are suggesting or its logical conclusion?

Some idiot female makes a joke about 'knocking off' Obama and it is an indictment of everyone who would vote Republican??

Ok, Jesse Jackson once called New York "himey town" an obviously racist comment. Therefore anyone who votes for Obama, who is supported by Jackson, is a racist.

You could say that about every candidate. Virtually every candidate has demographic groups where they are by far the favorite candidate, that's not really unique to Obama or Hillary. Take away white Christians and we'd have President Kerry right now. It works for EVERYONE.
